Meet Chappy

My name is Christopher Chappell aka "Chappy".

Having grown up in the historic district of Charleston, the harbor and surrounding creeks and marshes were literally my "back yard". Summer days were spent dragging a seign net for shrimp (of course while the Dads watched us do all the work), and by night, we would gig flounder from the jon boat.

Of course, fishing for big redfish and sea trout were always the top activities for kids.

Every time I set sail, I feel like it is the first time. It never gets old to see the look on a child's face when they throw in a line and catch a fish; truly, it is the gift that keeps giving — I am blessed to never work a day in my life. I can’t promise you that you will catch a shark, be so close you can reach out and feel a dolphin, or that it won’t sprinkle while we are at sea. But what I can promise is that together we will create memories that we will both cherish.

If you didn't see me and my buds fishing or wallering in the pluff mud, you might catch us hopping the railing along the downtown battery to jump aboard a boat bound for a deep sea trolling trip. Today I am a family man, happily married to my wife Jessica of 13 years. Also in Tow is the coolest son ever (Tradd) and our Boykin Spaniel, Miss Dixie.
